Privacy Policy

AfterDuty RoadSide Rescue respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us about your information.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when using the app, including your name, phone number, vehicle details, service selection, issue notes, and request history. We also collect location information when you verify your roadside request location or use request tracking features.

If photos are uploaded for job records, disputes, or service documentation, those photos are stored with the related request. Payment card details are processed by third-party payment processors and are not stored directly by AfterDuty RoadSide Rescue.

Vendor And Provider Information

If you apply to provide roadside services or use an owner/vendor account, we may collect your name, business name if provided, email address, phone number, service areas, availability, roadside experience, application notes, account role, account status, and confirmations about license, vehicle, tools, insurance, and background-check readiness.

If provider onboarding later requires documents or forms through the app or website, we may collect related onboarding records such as contractor agreement acceptance, insurance details, license details, tax or payout information, compliance notes, and review decisions. Some onboarding documents may be reviewed outside the app before dispatch access is approved.

How We Use Information

We use information to verify customers, create roadside service requests, dispatch assistance, provide request updates, process payments, maintain receipts, support disputes, prevent fraud, and improve service quality.

For vendors and providers, we use information to review applications, manage account access, confirm service eligibility, support dispatch operations, maintain job records, process payouts where applicable, investigate disputes, protect customers, and comply with safety, insurance, payment, tax, and legal requirements.

Location Information

Location is used to confirm the customer request location, help vendors navigate to the customer, refresh customer GPS location when requested, and show live tracking during active jobs. The app does not request background location access.

For owner/vendor accounts, vendor location may be collected and shown to the customer only during accepted active jobs when live tracking is enabled for dispatch, route, ETA, arrival, safety, and job-record purposes.

Payments And Providers

Payments may be processed by Stripe, PayPal, Google Pay, Venmo, or other supported payment providers. These providers process payment information under their own privacy and security policies. We store payment status, provider, method, receipt number, totals, and related transaction references.

We may use service providers such as Firebase/Google for authentication, database, storage, app infrastructure, hosting, maps, location tools, and notifications; payment processors for transactions; and SMS providers for customer communications if enabled.

If provider payouts are supported through the Platform, we may store payout status, payout method references, tax or business information, and related accounting records needed to operate the provider marketplace.

Data Retention

We retain request records, payment records, support records, provider application records, onboarding records, job records, location records tied to active jobs, and audit logs as needed for service history, business operations, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, safety, insurance, and dispute handling. Lockout-related audit records, when lockout service is used, may be retained for up to 3 years.

Your Choices

You may contact support to request help with your account, request records, or privacy questions. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, security, accounting, or dispute reasons.
